Tough Mudder 10/12/13

"We set out as a team on that chilly October day, most of us not knowing the pain we would be in 5 hours later! However, not one of us would take the experience back for anything! We knew we were a team starting out, some of us meeting for the first time that day but never knew how truly important sticking together was for this race. We were boosting each other over obstacles, conquering fears, trying to get our bodies to do what the mind was telling us not to. Even completely covered in mud, our shirts were bright and distinctive so that we knew where we all were at all times. 10+ miles! shock therapy, ice water, miles of mud....nothing phased us and we finished as a team holding hands as we crossed the finish line.
