Vero Classical Ballet is proud to present the 16th annual production of The Nutcracker on November 30th, 2024! Please help us to give the community an amazing show by buying a shirt and/or making a donation.

ABOUT VERO CLASSICAL BALLET

Vero Classical Ballet was established in 2005 by Director Barry Trammell. Mr. Barry has danced extensively across the United States for many years, from Ballet Florida and Oregon Ballet Theater, to City Ballet of Houston and Memphis Ballet. Principal roles in "The Sleeping Beauty," "Giselle," and "The Nutcracker" were his forte. Throughout his career he worked with such artists as Leo Ahohnen, Marek Cholewa, Andrei Ustinov, and Elena Martinson. As a result of his collaboration with these distinguished dancers, he has absorbed the rich, centuries old tradition of Russian classical ballet and the Vaganova method, which he now passes on to the students of Vero Classical Ballet.

As parents of students at Vero Classical Ballet, we are very grateful for the opportunity our daughters have to learn and grow in this beautiful art form under the direction of Mr. Barry. The girls work very hard in class, are incredibly strong, and love performing on stage, both in the summer show, which rotates between "Swan Lake," "The Sleeping Beauty," and "Cinderella," or in their annual performance of "The Nutcracker."

Vero Classical Ballet relies on the support of its families, the community, and its donors to continue offering the training and performance opportunities to aspiring dancers in Vero Beach. Ballet Vero Parents & Friends, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of Vero Classical Ballet, exists to support dancers with scholarships and to make possible the performance of classical ballets for the community.
