Hey everyone, it’s Ari. Most of you know me and I’m sure if this gets shared as I hope it will, then you may not know me. So let me introduce you to my daughter. Some of you are aware that my daughter NyLayah was born on July 24, 2024, with a rare congenital heart defect. Additionally, she has a tethered spine and another personal condition I will leave for her to share one day if she chooses to. NyLayah will need three major surgeries before her first birthday. When I learned of her heart defect at 21 weeks pregnant, i was extremely devastated.

Although she is expected to live a long, beautiful life, her needs are more complex than those of other children. I have been working diligently to arrange for her to receive top of the line care at the number 1 children’s hospital in the United States of America, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, as the surgery specialists she requires are not available in Pennsylvania. As her sole advocate, my commitment to her well-being is unwavering. TODAY I RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL THAT HER SURGERIES HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!

I am reaching out now to ask for your support through this tshirt sale to help cover travel and accommodation expenses as we make the journey numerous times between Cincinnati and Pennsylvania. Balancing life as a single mother, a full-time student, back at work already, and caring for a newborn is challenging, and any assistance would greatly ease this burden.
