Brooke & Andrew's Adoption Journey

We are excited to announce our next adventure together as we navigate the journey of adoption. Andrew and I have talked extensively since early in our relationship on our dreams of growing a family. Through our conversations, life experiences, and in our faith - we feel called to adoption to begin our family and take on parenthood together. There’s an overwhelming amount of love within us and our home that we would like to be able to bless a child in need with. We feel extremely blessed to have the tough life experiences we both have endured along with an amazing support system to help us as we proceed in the adoption process. It truly takes a village, and we are calling on ours for some help.

The adoption process isn’t something we had a ton of knowledge on to begin with but have taken months to explore what this is going to look like. We are currently pre-approved with the agency we feel best fits our values and beliefs. We are choosing to spread our reach and search nationwide, which comes with a hefty cost.

To begin the process, we are looking at a roughly $30,000 cost for the agency. We then will be faced with the costs of home visits and legal fees along with any birth parent expenses, travel and support during the process. These additional costs could add up to roughly another $30,000. We are calling on our community and support system to help us in this financial hurdle to be able to provide the best life possible for our adoptive child and our family as it grows over the years. We greatly appreciate any help we will receive and can’t thank you all enough in advance, from the bottom of our hearts. Our goal is steep, but we hope that with the funds we raise we are able to not only adopt for ourselves, but also pay it forward. Any funds we may have left over will be donated to a family beginning their adoption journey.
