It’s banned books week and it’s time to come together to protect ALL kids’ right to read.

I created a design inspired by the librarian, Mr. Jasper, in my upcoming book, Same Page. In Same Page, take-charge Bess Stein unites friends with a group of rockstar librarians known as The Book Warriors to fight a book ban happening at her middle school. Mr. Jasper is one of those book warriors.

I have had the immense privilege of meeting so many book warriors - librarians and teachers whose hearts and voices have made a huge difference. Thank you!
